What should I know before contacting Tents R Us?
We are more than happy to walk you through the ordering process but be prepared to answer these questions in advance:

  • How big is the space do you want to put the tent.  We need actual measurements, not estimates.
  • Do you want to put the tent on grass or cement/asphalt?
  • How many guests do you plan on having at your event?
  • What is the zip code where you will be holding the event?

When is the best time to reserve equipment for my party or event?
You should plan on reserving the necessary equipment as early as possible before your event date. Without a reservation, we cannot guarantee that the items you want will be in stock. If you are unsure of the exact number of guests, we can always modify the reservation to suit your needs at no additional charge.

How do I make a reservation?

There are two ways to make a reservation.  You can text your full name, address for the event, event date, your email address and the equipment needed.  Text it to 773.779.8368 and you will receive a confirmation of your event within 12 hours.  

Or you can call our office at 773.779.8368 to make a reservation. You will receive a real-time confirmation by doing it this way.  

On all orders, a 33% non-refundable deposit is required and needs to be paid with 24 hours of booking the reservation.  

Events booked during the actual week of the event require 100% payment upon booking the reservation.  

How do I get a quote for my party or event?
The most convenient way is online. Click on Get an Instant Quote. All that is needed is to enter an e-mail address and the zip code of where the event will be held. If we don’t service your area it will let you know.

A quote can also be given over the phone or by email.

Be aware Other companies may charge hidden fees or surcharges (delivery & set up fees). Be assured that the price you are quoted from us is the price you will pay!


How does pricing work?
Pricing is based on a full, single day rental. If you require a longer rental, please call us for more information.

When is final payment due?
Final payment is due on delivery unless prior arrangements have been made.

We accept cash, check, or credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover Card).

You may also prepay at any time!


Does Tents R Us deliver to my city/town?
We deliver to most towns within the greater Chicagoland area. In order to find out if we deliver to your specific town, please get an online quote or give us a call.

What are your delivery fees?
Delivery fees are only incurred when you rent only tables & chairs. Delivery fees are never charged when renting a tent.

When will you deliver my rental items?
For Saturday events, delivery is normally done on the Friday prior to the event. For Sunday events, delivery will normally be on Saturday. Exact times for delivery are typically scheduled on the Wednesday prior to your event. We will call you on Thursday to confirm your order and give you an estimated delivery time window.We realize that your time is valuable. Occasionally, our delivery personnel will be delayed by traffic or weather conditions. If this happens, our delivery personnel will call you to keep you updated on the progress of the trucks and give you an updated time of delivery.

What if I need a special time for delivery or pick-up?
We will try to accommodate your request for any special delivery or pick-up times whenever possible. Extra charges may apply when a “Same Day Delivery and Pick Up” of rental items is needed.

Do I have to be home for delivery?
We recommend that you or a representative be present at the time of delivery to ensure that your items get delivered to the correct location. If you cannot be home, we will deliver the items to a pre-designated location.

Does Tents R Us set up the equipment?
All tents will be properly set-up and secured by our trained personnel. Sidewalls will be installed per the customer’s request. Tables and chairs will be stacked underneath the tent or in a designated location at no extra cost.


Is there a fee for equipment pick-up?
No, our costs cover both delivery and pick-up.

Should I do anything with the items before you pick them up?
We would love it if you could wipe down tables and stack the chairs and leave them under the tent. Please do not attempt to take down the tent structure.

What happens if items are damaged or lost?
The customer is responsible for all items from the time of delivery to time of pick-up. The customer will be charged replacement or repair costs for lost, stolen or damaged equipment due to misuse or negligence.


Can you install tents over decks, patios, or driveways?
Yes. Our frame tents and E-Z Up tents can be installed over decks, patios, or driveways given the space needed. Please let us know what type of surface you plan to place the tent.

Should I get tablecloths for tables?
You should definitely get some sort of tablecloths for the tables. We offer cloth tablecloths for rent but you can also get plastic tablecloths and at any local party stores. The table sizes are 32”x96” for banquet tables and 60” for round tables.

When is the best time to call us?
Feel free to reach out to us anytime during normal business hours. We tend to be really busy with deliveries on Friday so keep that in mind when calling.

Can you do same day orders?
They can be done but it's not suggested. Our staff work is planned out in advance and it's tough to add jobs our schedule.  

Are your tents fire retardant?
All our tents have a flame retardant certificate from the California State Fire Marshall (the state with the most stringent fire codes in the nation). We will be glad to email or fax a copy of the certificate to you upon request.

Does Tents R Us have insurance?
Yes and great question! Some tent companies may say they have insurance but you can never be sure. We will be glad to provide you with a copy of our insurance certification upon request.

What is the deposit policy?
A 33% non-refundable deposit is due upon booking your event. All deposits are due 24 hours of booking the reservation.
